Loneliness brings the sounds of Oasis,
Helping to see lost hidden faces,
Hiding between the clouds in the sky.

Depression tries to squeeze within
With the help of past thoughts tearing in.
Did you see the rainbow in July?

Paper planes and silver balloons
Casting a shadow where they stood
Did you see the rainbow in July?

You will never find me
Painting magnolia sunsets
To a blind man standing lonely in a lagoon.
You will never find me
Painting magnolia sunsets
To a blind man standing lonely
To a blind man standing lonely in a lagoon.

Flying through a box of dreams
Where humans die and angels sing
Did you find the faces in this stream?

Depression tries to squeeze within
With the help of past thoughts tearing in.
Did you see the rainbow in July?

You will never find me
Painting magnolia sunsets
To a blind man standing lonely in a lagoon.
You will never find me
Painting magnolia sunsets
To a blind man standing lonely
To a blind man standing lonely in a lagoon.

Fireballs in rainy skies
Thunder flies locked in a diamond ring
Did you see the faces in this dream?

We’re still seeing rainbows
Lost beyond the horizon
In a warm bath filled with bubbles
In a warm bath filled with bubbles in the sky.

Flying through a box of dreams
Where humans die and angels sing
This moment ends when we were flying high
We were flying high
We were flying high…

*Editor Notes:
This poem or song is a take (Rip Off) of Noel Gallagher’s – ‘Champagne Supernova In The Sky’ It’s one of my favourite songs from when he was in the band Oasis. I play it daily when working, cooking or just chilling in the summerhouse. I just tried to wrap a poem around his framework. I hope nobody minds.
