Metaphysical philosophy, often simply referred to as metaphysics, is a branch of philosophy that deals with fundamental questions about reality, existence, and the nature of the universe. It seeks to understand the fundamental nature of being, the relationship between mind and matter, the nature of time, space, causation, and the ultimate nature of reality itself. Metaphysics goes beyond the physical world and attempts to address questions that may not be directly verifiable through scientific methods.
